Our Process
A flawless artificial grass installation relies on perfect groundwork. Here is our proven 6-step method.
Removal
The process starts with the careful removal of your current garden, clearing the way for new developments.
Frame & Edging
Next, we install a sturdy composite frame along with concrete edging to provide essential support for the sub-base material.
Foundations
For the foundations, we lay down type 1 limestone to a depth that ranges from 50mm to 100mm, tailored to the specific ground conditions we encounter.
Compacting
To ensure stability, we then compact the foundations using a whacker plate, creating a solid base for the next steps.
Granite Dust
Following this, we apply a 25mm layer of granite dust, which helps to level the surface before we compact it once more for added durability.
Membrane
Finally, we lay down two layers of membrane: one for ground stabilisation and another as a weed barrier, taking into account the presence of pets in your environment.
